“Hot Dog” by John Gaydos

Ready to have a great time? Then come to our fine art auction–unlike any other. 

No champagne and caviar here. Just a great hot dog and a cold beer or soda, plus some of the finest art originals and prints for any pocketbook. 

The Lehigh Valley Arts Council has teamed up with local artists and businesses to present a lively benefit auction of affordable art—just in time for the holidays—on Sunday, November 6, 2:00-5:00 PM at Merchants Square Mall in Allentown, PA. 

Art celebrates life and should be accessible to everyone. So, we’re inviting folks to enjoy a hot dog and a beer or soda, experience the thrill of a fast-paced absolute auction, and fall in love with an original and affordable piece of art created in the LehighValley! 

Tom Hall Auctions will auction off more than 125 fine-art paintings, prints and photographs that will range in price from $25 to $1,000 with the proceeds shared equally between the artists and LVAC. Thirty regional artists are represented, including Sydney McGinley, George Shortess, Kim Robertson, Barry Assed, John Gaydos, and Daniel Kainz. 

You will be able to bid on “Hot Dog,” the 24″ x 24″ acrylic on canvas by John Gaydos shown above.

Our region boasts remarkable talent and resources and this event is also about local pride. 

Admission is free, but refreshments provided by Yocco’sWeyerbacher Brewery, and A-Treat will be available for sale. 

Additional sponsors include Thurston Royce Gallery of Fine Art, Ltd. and Tom Hall Auctions. Previews are scheduled for Saturday, November 5, Noon-4:00 PM and Sunday, November 6, Noon-2:00 PM.
